As an independent unit with a wide range of tasks, the Engineering Department was assigned in 2001; however, some subdivisions of the Department were successful within High-Voltage Union CJSC back at the beginning of 2000.

Today’s main activities of the Department are construction and reconstruction of power supply facilities: new 35-220 kV power substations, 6(10) kV distribution substations, power supply equipment for industrial enterprises.

We use the products of High-Voltage Union as well as equipment of other domestic and foreign manufacturers:

  • outdoor modular substations
  • indoor substations and switchgears
  • relay protection, controls, telemechanics and communication equipment
  • automatic systems for commercial accounting of power consumption

Main works:

  • General Designer functions
  • General Contractor functions
  • EPCM-contractor functions when constructing power supply facilities
  • Functions of power supply facilities construction project manager
  • Development of electrical engineering sections in power supply facilities construction and reconstruction projects
  • Development of sections of Relay protection and emergency controls, Automatic systems for commercial accounting of power consumption, Automatic Process Control Systems, technological link between power supply facilities
  • Development of master layouts, architectural & civil engineering solutions, buildings and structures of power supply facilities
  • Development of construction organization plans and work specifications
  • Construction and installation of electrical equipment of 6(10)-220 kV voltage, Relay protection and emergency controls, Automatic systems for commercial accounting of power consumption, Automatic Process Control Systems
  • Start-up and commissioning of power equipment

The design subdivision of the Engineering Department develops high-tech power supply system designs in compliance with theISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, has design permits issued by ENERGOSERT SRO NP, and construction and installation works permit from ENERGOSTROY SRO NP. The developed designs comply with all existing regulations.
