Outdoor switchgears series BP35NT with solid-cast poles in external and internal organosilicon insulation, including the vacuum interrupter casting, are designed for installation in newly built substations as well as for replacement of life-expired oil circuit-breakers series S-35M-630-10 and apparatus of other series.

Design
Circuit-breakers consist of the following main parts: a block of poles, a block of drive and current transformers. Current transformers can be installed on the side of lower terminals of the pole (type TOL-35 III-IV-1; 3; 5; 7 or TOL-35 III-II(V) or GIF 40,5). On the side of upper terminals of the pole the following current transformers can be installed: TOL-35 III-IV-2; 4; 6; 8.
The block of poles is installed on the block of drive. Both blocks are kinematically interconnected by a tie-rod. The block of poles consists of a base, on which three poles are mounted. The drive block consists of a frame housing a cubicle with spring drive and supports for installation of current transformers.
