Vacuum circuit breakers of ВР series for indoor installation are optimally suited for solving switching and protection problems in the medium voltage circuits. BP circuit breakers are used to commutate loads and are operated at rated currents up to 3 150 A and breaking currents up to 40 kA.
<>BR All BP series circuit breakers are developed according to unified constructive principles, such as: use of poles molded of epoxy compound; use of universal electromagnetic drive that is working under the principle of “magnetic latch” and controlled by the electronic control unit installed inside circuit breaker casing.
The series is used for installation into newly built complect switchgears with “classical” construction (withdrawable element located in the middle part of the cabinet of switchgear), into one-side service built-up cells; and for replacement of old-type circuit breakers in various types of complect switchgears.
BP series circuit breakers range of 6-10 kV consists of the following types: BP0, ВР1, ВР2, ВР3, ВР6, ВР6В, and ВР6К. BP0 and BP1 circuit breakers, as well as ВР2 and ВР3 are used for general industrial application. ВР6 circuit breakers, ВР6В, and ВР6К are applied in the switchgears of the thermal and nuclear power plants.
