High-Voltage Union Concern strengthens its presence in Turkmenistan

From 11 to 13 September Concern "Voltage Union" took part in the 7th International Exhibition and Scientific Conference "The main trends of Power Industry of Turkmenistan 2014", which was held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

The forum hosted representatives of 80 foreign companies from Russia, Iran, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and France, and 50 Turkmen companies working in the energy domain.

High-Voltage Union Concern had a common stand with UNAKO Group of Companies. The forum was visited by over 100 participants including the deputy chairman of cabinet of ministers in charge of energy industry and ex-minister of energy Artykov Murad Redzhepovich.

The growth rate of production volumes, works and services ordered by the Ministry of Energy was 110.5%, and 104.6% of electricity production if compared to 2012. Of course, this fact and the approval of "Concept for Development of Power Industry of Turkmenistan for 2013-2020" provokes interest to cooperation with Turkmenistan. Construction and reconstruction of power plants, transmission lines and substations of 35, 110, 220 kV are planned within the programme.

High-Voltage Union Concern has implemented dozens of 35, 110, 220 kV substation construction projects in Russia and CIS countries. In 2013, the company shipped equipment for construction of "Polyethylene" substation of 110/35/10 kV ordered by the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan.

Today High-Voltage Union Concern is actively negotiating with the Ministry of Energy for development of partner relations and further supply of equipment for power supply facilities of Turkmenistan.
