High-Voltage Union participates in the project of federal importance

Since April 2013, High-Voltage Union is involved in the project of federal importance. In early spring, under the order of the largest mining and processing enterprise being built from scratch in the post-Soviet space, namely Mikheevsky GOK CJSC in Chelyabinsk Oblast, High-Voltage Union Concern shipped a 10 kV indoor switchgear of its own production.

The equipment was manufactured specially for construction of 220/10 kV main step-down substation of Mikheevsky GOK being a part of the holding Russkaya Mednaya Kompaniya CJSC (Russian Copper Company).

The equipment was delivered to Mikheevsky GOK CJSC, one of the largest copper ore deposits in Russia, under the contract signed between the Customer and High-Voltage Union in October 2012.

The scope of supply includes a 10 kV indoor switchgear mounted on the base a one-row modular enclosure series KRPZ-10kV (27 sections) and consisting of KU-10S switchgears (56 pcs) with BPC-10 vacuum circuit-breakers for 630-4000 A currents.

At the moment, there are preparations to install the ZRU-10kV indoor switchgear on the customer's facilities.
