KU6S switchgears are designed to be used in auxiliary switchgears for thermal and nuclear power plants with turbo block of 1 200 MVA.
Design
The cubicle is a metal enclosure made of high-quality steel sheets with aluminium-zinc alloy coating. Joints are made of heavy-duty steel blind rivets and threaded fasteners. Cubicle external elements, such as front doors, side panels of cubicles at far ends of a row, etc., have powder coating (RAL 7032).
Switching Apparatus
KU6S switchgear is equipped with vacuum circuit-breakers series BPC manufactured by High-Voltage Union as well as with HD4 and VD4 circuit-breakers. Circuit-breakers series BPC-6 are designed for rated currents of up to 4000 A and rated breaking capacity of up to 40 kA.
